In 2003, Michelle graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in Psychology. After graduating, Michelle married the love of her life, Mike Cervantes. Soon after marriage Michelle began her teaching career. She has enjoyed teaching students from 2nd grade through 5th grade.  

 

In 2007, Michelle and Mike moved from Houston to Kingsville. It was in Kingsville that the Lord started to expand her family. In 2008, they gave birth to their amazing son Kaleo; and in 2010, they were blessed with their precious baby girl, Zoe. Since then, God has moved them here to Corpus where Mike is the Lead Pastor at The Fellowship of Oso Creek. This is the first year Michelle will be a part of the YCA family. She is super excited to see all that God has planned in the lives of everyone here at YCA.
