Current Assignment: Pre-Kindergarten
Contact Info: MMayo@YCA-CC.org
Michele Mayo graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and is dual certified to teach both elementary and special education. While in San Antonio, she taught K-3 in the special education program at Judson I.S.D. from 2001-2005. After the birth of her daughter she decided to remain at home to raise her children.
Eric and Michele have been married since 1999 and have 2 wonderful children, Nicolas and Savannah. The family attends Yorktown Baptist Church. Eric and Michele teach a children's Bible Study class on Sunday mornings. The family relocated to Corpus Christi in 2007 through H.E.B. where Eric holds the position of Loss Prevention Regional Director. Michele loves to spend time with the family, cooking, gardening and scrapbooking.
When Michele learned of Eric's career move to Corpus Christi she began to pray that God would provide a church and school where her family could grow and learn in God's word. The church where they attended, Oak Hills, also prayed on behalf of the family. She believes God has provided the perfect place to raise children, with so many worthy God-loving teachers. God answers prayers.
