Current Assignment: Computer Lab & Library
Contact Info: KLindell@YCA-CC.org

Kim was a part of the YCA family for 2 years as a parent and volunteer before joining YCA staff as the computer/library teacher in 2010.

Prior to becoming a mother, Kim taught at a local charter school for four years.  In that multi-age setting, over a course of four years, she taught students in grades 4, 5 and 6.  After meeting and marrying her husband, Nathan, they spent a year in Kingwood, TX where she taught 2nd grade.

The Lindell’s have been active members of the Fellowship of Oso Creek church for more than 9 years.  In 2010, Kim went on a mission trip with a team from their church to a village in North Vietnam where she began building relationships with teachers in the local school.  She returned this last March and was thrilled to witness what God is doing there.

During the warmer months you will find Kim and her family on the lake just about every chance they get!  Locally, they enjoy time on Lake Corpus Christi but for the occasional “long weekend” they really enjoy travelling to Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas.

Having a fondness for every grade level she has worked with, Kim is very excited about working with all YCA students this year, Pre-K through the 8th grade including her own children, one entering 3rd grade, and the other entering the 1st grade.
